Cara Sloat is a Toronto-based mechanical engineer who brings more than 17 years of mechanical design experience to her clients and their projects.  Having started her career building low-energy homes across Ontario, she has focused on design for multi-unit residential and retail – both building types where there are great opportunities to build more sustainably.  Work in new construction, building energy audits, and retrofits across Canada has provided her excellent familiarity with a range of low-energy mechanical systems, and a nuanced understanding of how these systems interact with other building elements.
