For over 15 years, Chris has been passionately working with clients to deliver cost-effective and sustainable mechanical engineering solutions. Chris" areas of expertise include detailed mechanical system design of high performance buildings, and neighbourhood energy master planning and system design. He is well-versed in all aspects of sustainable building design across a number of sectors, including institutional, mixed-use commercial developments and district energy systems. Noteworthy projects include Vancouver Island University"s Health and Science Centre, SFU Student Union Building, a multipurpose building incorporating public assembly, retail, cafeteria and office spaces, and the Vancouver Art Gallery which is being designed to Class AA gallery space requirements. Chris presented at NAPHN Conference in Pittsburg in October 2018 on the application of Passive House design principles in Off-Grid locations.
Chris is the mechanical team leader for the University of Victoria"s new student housing.
