Sustainability Consultant, High Performance Buildings
Ghazal is a sustainability consultant for high performance buildings at Lower Mainland Facilities Management, a department that manages the facilities of the four health care organizations in Lower Mainland, BC. Ghazal holds a doctoral degree from University of British Columbia (UBC) in Resource Management and Environmental Studies, with focus on Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) and high performance buildings. She also holds a Master's degree (MSc) in Renewable Energy and Architecture from the University of Nottingham, UK and an undergraduate degree in Architecture. Ghazal has more than seven years of research and work experience in the field of sustainability, energy efficiency and high performance buildings. Her ongoing curiosity is to explore and catalyze the emergence of principles and practices that make a built environment, which effectively responds to the needs of its users while reducing environmental impacts.
