Lukas is an Architect and Principal at Cover Architecture in Nelson BC. With degrees in Industrial Design and Architecture, Lukas applies a comprehensive set of skills to projects of any scale.

Lukas is responsible for the first Certified Multi-family dwelling in Canada, a certified triplex as an aging-in-place facility, and the world’s first certified auto dealership in the cold climate of Alberta. He is currently working on a PH CLT office building, and a PH visitor’s center and chamber of commerce.

Lukas has spoken three times at NAPHN conferences, including Vancouver and New York. His own home won the Design Award at the 2015 NAPHN. He has spoken at The Alberta Woodworks Conference and had his work presented and published as part of the 19th annual International Passivehouse Conference. Lukas is an animated and engaging speaker that encourages audience participation.
