Melissa is a Passive House Designer and Certifier at Peel Passive House Consulting where she supports the company's certification, consultancy, thermal modelling, and research activities. Melissa completed her Master of Building Science degree at Ryerson University where she learned about building science, ecological and resource efficient design, energy efficient building services and renewable energy systems. Melissa has worked on a variety of projects all over the world designing buildings that are climate-responsive by incorporating passive design elements in order to maximize user comfort while minimizing energy use. She has extensive experience in energy modelling, daylight analysis, climate analysis, as well as various other engineering analyses. Melissa has presented at other events such as the NAPHN conference.
